Promotional Messages Across the World # 7

This advertisement really caught my eye because it was promoting travel to a different place. That's something that I noticed in both places that we went. That a lot of advertisements were promoting travel to another country.

The audience for this message is anyone who is looking to travel, which is usually younger people who are looking to travel to new and cool places, or older people who want to travel to take a break from their daily lives. But overall I would say the main audience being target is anyone who is looking for specific destinations to travel.

The words in this advertisement communicate that instead of reading about all of the amazing places that have a lot of history, you should instead go experience them. They also use a hashtag that says #feelFrance, which encourages you to get your own feel for what you've heard about.

The image in this advertisement is super simple, but gets the point across that their is a lot of beauty and history in France. The image is simply an old looking building or castle that looks really beautiful and aligns with the history aspect that the advertisement is trying to persuade you with. I don't know if the image is attention grabbing, but it is really nice to look at.

I feel that this message is culturally different, because in America their isn't a lot of promotion to visit other countries. There are a lot of television advertisements that will promote traveling to a different country, but you don;t see a lot of billboards or print advertisement like this one. I think this is mostly due to Americans being against travel due to all of the unfortunate terrorist attacks happening in foreign countries.

I really enjoyed seeing advertisements like this around London and Italy, because it showed that these countries promote traveling to other places in order to support each others economies.
